ABOUT PASPALEY PEARL FARMS
Our pearling operation is extensive with farming operation stretched over more than 2000 kilometres between the Cobourg Peninsula in the Northern Territory to as far as Exmouth in Western Australia. These farms are positioned amongst some of the Australia’s most spectacular coastline and unique marine environments. The Paspaley Family has been harvesting from these waters for over 70 years.
The company has a number of land-based farms and vessel-based farms which can have from 10 to 50 crew members working and living together at any one time.
We look for those who are keen and willing to learn and are willing to put in 100% effort. As you will be required to live and work in a close environment, you need to be tolerant towards others around you.

ABOUT PASPALEY VESSELS
Paspaley Pearls currently operates a fleet of 14 vessels between the Cobourg Peninsula in the Northern Territory to as far south as Broome in Western Australia.
The company has a number of vessels that vary in size as well as roles. They range from 22 to 52 metres in length and can have from 9 to 59 crew members working and living on board. There are diving ships, operations ships, farm support and pearl farm ships. These operate up and down the coastline between the pearl farms from March to December each year.
Most of your time will be spent at sea with the day commencing at 05:00 and finishing around 18:00. These hours may vary depending on the type of work being carried out. The length of time spent at sea at any one time can vary from one week to sometimes five weeks during busy times.
