Paspaley

Eurunderee, a property of 485 hectares, is nestled in the rolling hills of the Central Ranges of New South Wales on the Cudgegong River near the town of Mudgee. Once described by poet Henry Lawson as ‘like a gem in the range’, the climate and soils are ideal for growing the wine grapes for which the region is famous.

About 160 hectares of the land are dedicated to the vineyard. The varieties grown include Cabernet Sauvignon, Semillon, Chardonnay, Merlot 
 

and Shiraz. In addition, plantings of Riesling and Tempranillo have recently been made. Eurunderee is also the home of the Bunnamagoo Estate Winery, completed in 2009, where wines displaying subtle nuances and strong regional character are produced.

As well as the vineyard, Eurunderee has extensive river flats and water licences allowing the production of Lucerne for lamb fattening and prime Lucerne hay for the horse industry. This hay also enabled Paspaley to retain its core breeding herds on its other properties during the drought of 2003- 2009.
